Skytech Chronos Gaming PC Desktop – AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super 8GB, 16GB DDR4 (2X 8GB), 1TB SSD, B450M Motherboard, 650 Watt Gold (Ryzen 7 2700X | RTX 2070 Super)
I had a Skytech Chronos Gaming desktop computer: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super for about 2 weeks. During this time, it froze every 4-5 hours. Sometimes, when I logged in to Windows, sometimes when I played in a web browser, sometimes I didn’t do anything, sometimes when I disconnected. I couldn’t find a way to constantly reproduce it.
I tried technical support, but your only suggestion was to reinstall Windows, which I did and it didn’t work. Then I tried to use only the peripherals that came with the PC. That didn’t work either. I tried to run memory and hard drive tests, but I didn’t find any problems. So in the end I don’t know what it was. I did not have time to find out because they had to recover the machine within 30 days after ordering, otherwise they would not recover it. (It took about a week to ship from his warehouse in Canada to my home in the continental United States, so there really was no time).
That is the bad part. The good thing is that when I actually played, they looked * amazing *. The system started quickly and there were many expansion options (additional hard drive bay, additional RAM slots, etc.). Actually, I didn’t want to get rid of this computer if there was a way to fix it, but it just didn’t work out.
