SkyTech Shadow Gaming Computer Desktop PC Ryzen 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core, GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, 8GB DDR4 2400, 1TB HDD, 24X DVD, Wi-Fi USB, Windows 10 Home 64-bit

CHECK PRICE

This is my first “gaming” PC that I bought without arming. What initially appealed to me was the price, which was quite reasonable compared to the purchase of the components individually. When I looked deeper, I noticed other things. The amount of USB 3.0 ports (with 5 of them a PC is hard to find) and the GTX 1050 Ti was not a high-end port, but compared to some AMD cards I’ve seen in other versions, good results with points of reference.

PROS:
* The construction is first class. There were no loose screws or rattling parts inside. The PC started without problems the first time.
* The Mobo is top notch, the number of USB ports is excellent, there is room to expand the RAM up to 32 GB (16×2). I immediately increased mine to 16 GB and I don’t regret it.
* The graphics card is solid. I start Overwatch with 60FPS in High / Very High with ease and Battlefield 1 with more than 60 FPS in Ultra. Less graphically intense games like Diablo 3 and Minecraft near the 100 FPS mark.

cons:
* There are no PCI slots available for updates, such as a fixed WiFi card (it comes with a dongle that I think has a fairly weak range) or a capture card.
* There is only a 5.25-inch front slot, which is occupied by the supplied DVD player. This seems strange to me because the tower itself is huge. It seems that much of the space is occupied by the stupidity of the front LED and a single 3.5-inch compartment on the front panel (where you could probably place a front compartment with USB ports, since this model does this before, but not in front).
* The power supply is a bit weak if you want to update the graphics card in the future. Really 500 watts are minimal and I would really like to see companies deliver 750 or 800 watts by default. The price difference is very small, but the increase in performance is excellent.
* Without built-in bluetooth. This is minor, but it is something that adds a lot of functionality to a PC.
* It is not worth saving the included keyboard. The keys are very rigid and somewhat silly in general. The multimedia keys are nice, but my space bar came out of the box. I immediately replaced it with a Razer Blackwidow. The mouse is also a bit weak, since it has no weight balancers in which it can stick. I found it very light and easy to throw.
