ASUS Tuf (2019) Gaming Laptop, 15.6” Full HD IPS-Type, AMD Ryzen 7 R7-3750H, GeForce RTX 2060, 16GB DDR4, 512GB PCIe SSD, Gigabit Wi-Fi 5, Windows 10 Home, FX505DV-PB74
PROS: – Ryzen 7 CPU
– Slim design
– Ideal cooling
– Robust construction
– Long battery life averages 7 to 8 hours when I’m not playing, and frankly, I didn’t expect much from a gaming laptop
– Keyboard feels good and has decent key travel
CONS: – The screen is dark. I had trouble using it in a cafe or library
– Trackpad is fine. Not the best it feels a little cheap
– Killer WiFi card, which is not the fastest and is not close to my internet speed at home
Overall Rating: I have no idea why other reviewers mention specs that Asus doesn’t provide. 6 GB of RAM? Than? This laptop has 8GB soldered and an open slot for more RAM. Also, the technical data nowhere says it is a 120 Hz panel. It is a 60 Hz panel. There is another model with a 120 Hz panel, but this is not the correct one. The reviewer probably read the specs from somewhere else and complained about them here.
Overall: I am very happy with the laptop. I just updated the RAM and now it is a beast. Oh, and there is an additional slot for an SSD (PCIe), so you can add more storage if 512GB is not enough.
