Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones, Samsung and Android Devices, Black
PROS * Outstanding comfort: In contrast to conventional earphones that sit on the canal and can cause ear canal pain or irritation, they comfortably seal directly into the canal opening without pressure.
* Sound Quality: My main earphone is a professional Sennheiser set. Of course, these don’t have the same sound quality or range. Still, they are the best sounding headphones I’ve ever used. The base and treble are way above what headphones should do, and the fidelity is spectacular.
* Noise Cancellation: It is remarkably effective. It manages to reduce ambient noise at all levels. A tone is still heard, especially in the higher frequencies. However, the overall effect is very satisfactory and insulating.
* Build quality: The set feels very high quality. A kind of satin rubber feel on the case.
CONS: * Inline box for noise reduction: This is just a minor disadvantage. The small box that joins in line with the cable is well made and effective. But it also has some weight, no doubt due to the fact that it is well done. It is cumbersome in certain circumstances and can interfere.
* Price: there is no way to avoid it. This is a very expensive headset for consumers. I needed a good set to use with my VR headsets for long distances. This set fits perfectly, but at a very high price. If you know you will use a lot, it makes sense. But if you’re just looking for a good set to use with mobile phones, I think the uncomfortable noise canceling box and the price will take you to other options.
Overall Rating: This is an exceptional pair of headphones. I can hardly recommend a better set for VR games or other static locations where incredible sound is needed, but a full-size circumaural headset doesn’t work. In my case, I can’t use big headphones with my VR headsets. For this purpose, these are spectacular. But based on the price, I will definitely make sure you make the most of it
