The Razer Kraken is really the Razer Kraken Pro V3. Razer went crazy over his name and confused everyone. Then they went back to the original name Razer Kracken. This model has original oval headphones and an improved microphone. I currently have a Razer Kraken 7.1 v1 and 7.1 v2. He gave my wife version 1 and bought the new Razer Kraken 2019 so I can replace it. About 1 year ago I bought and returned the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition with THX. The sound and the microphone were terrible. The Razer Kracken 2019 uses this free software to simulate 7.1 surround sound

Razer Kraken Gaming Headset – I use them with a PS4 and I am satisfied with them, although I have to admit that these are the only “gaming” headphones I have used. I really have no idea if they are better or worse than the competition. I have a Razer Blade Pro laptop that is the best I have ever had (including MacBook Pros), so I chose it almost entirely due to my very positive experience with Razer products.

In terms of comfort, I would definitely give themhigh ratings. They are very light and “fresh” in the sense that after a while they no longer feel warm. No matter how many consecutive hours I wear them, they are always totally comfortable and I never feel like my ears are starting to sweat or I need to take them off to take a break. In fact, I forget that I even use headphones.

What I hate is the volume control. It is like a dial on the wire like almost any other earphone, but the problem is that it is a very rotating and almost free dial. It’s not a “fixed” dial that won’t move unless you actually put your fingers on it and turn it up or down, or the type that makes a little click when you notch it up or down. As a result, every time you He moves (for example, changes position or takes a sip of water), rubs against his clothes, and the volume rises or falls. You can’t just adjust the volume and forget it. It seems like I have to check every 15 to 30 minutes that the volume I want is still there. At some point you get used to constant review, but they definitely could have designed it better. It doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve used many different types of headphones (for music, etc.) that have similar volume controls, but none that change the volume with the slightest touch.
