Picking up a good condenser microphone for your podcast or whatever you want to do is a very handy task. Today’s latest variant of microphones is very interesting though the price is very significant too. In this article, you can find the best condenser microphone in Philippines.

1. Audio-Technica AT2020

Why Buy This:
This microphone was much better than I expected from a USB device. So much so that I felt compelled to create a short 6.5-minute video review. I used the microphone to record audio in this review, and I hope the sound quality will help you in your search for a microphone that offers well above the price. In short, a good build, quality manufacturing, and a truly noise-free wavy microphone that’s easy to plugin and use. This is why AT2020 is one of the best condenser microphones in Philippines.

2. Marantz Professional MPM-1000

Why Buy This:
When I turn on the phantom power, wow. Ultra-quiet. Practically no line noise. I was really touched. I’m still wondering how it is possible to have such a low price and get such performance. The only thing I can think of, is the high-end equipment, will the limitations start to appear? I’ve seen condenser mics work for thousands of dollars. I probably won’t make the next gold record, so I’ll be fine with that one.

This can pick up guitar and vocals very clearly and tolerate when the distance from the microphone varies during a performance. A single microphone works well for amplifying a church vocal quartet. Gains can be greatly increased before life-size feedback is captured. Fairly consistent depth of tone within the heart pattern area. The mic body and shock mount are metallic, but the threaded casing and hinge are plastic!

3. Lewitt LCT 440

Why Buy This:
It has a rich bass response and manages to give an enhanced treble without any harshness in the tone. This quickly became my primary VO mic, and I haven’t had any issues with it so far. It has incredibly low self-noise (7 dB) and is incredibly sensitive. It will pick up my hard drive on my laptop, not to mention my computer fan if they both have them in the same room. I highly recommend the 440 Pure and can say for sure that it holds up against the big names like Neumann and Sennheiser.

4. Samson SAGOMIC

Why Buy This:
The microphone itself is working fine for my purposes. The size is also suitable. The real problem is the mini-USB that connects it to the computer. It’s really flimsy and soft and the green/red light on the microphone indicates it’s connected or not blinking the whole time you’re using it. If I move or move the microphone in any way, it turns off and the dictation program drops out saying it can’t find the microphone.

5. Fosmon Cardioid

Why Buy This:
The staggering floor noise is noticeable and I’m not sure if it’s because the mids are too loud but I had to set my midrange to -10kHz to stabilize my audio..high to default and low to +200Hz. One thing I will say about the coming noise and that it doesn’t appear on Audacity, OBS, or youtube, it is specifically on the headphone. I’m using the SonMDR7506 studio standard for the radio.

The build quality is ok externally, I noticed on the inside that one screw is jammed at an angle… it can’t be removed. Too bad, I was customizing the color on the body and wanted to make the header basket but that’s fine. Other than that, it’s surprisingly a good microphone for the money.

6. MXL Mics 770

Why Buy This:
This is a really great microphone that comes with a nice little accessory set including a shock mount, a nice hard case for both, and some great resources and guides for you to learn how to use and get the most out of. I found it very useful and easy to read!

This is the most professional plug-and-play microphone out there. I’m a musician who recorded with U87s class blue mics, high quality and the list goes on. I’ve been in the studios frustrated with the way my singing voice sounds. Not enough air, not enough bass, not plump enough, or not strong enough. And the list goes on. I spent less than 5 minutes getting the mic to cut through the mix all while holding the bass in my voice without the bangs. I feel like I’m cheating with this mic. You are genuinely trying to find something wrong with it and you just can’t. I would like to join the group of audiophiles that I believe in and there are many cases where the price does not always match the sound quality.

7. Audio-Technica AT2035

Why Buy This:
This is the perfect microphone for someone upgrading from a USB microphone to an XLR setup with a focus on capturing clean audio recordings. Quality is there with adults but at an affordable price. As far as quality is concerned, this mic is an easy 9/10. Want to bump it up to 10/10? Be prepared to spend a minimum of $700 (Neumann TLM 102).

8. Rode NT1-A

Why Buy This:
The sound was crisp and clear, and it was nicely captured. But I stopped using it, and it sat in a controlled place for a few weeks. I go to use it again, and nothing. It did pick up faint vibrations but it didn’t pick up my voice at all until it was compressed to the point where my voice would go alone.

There is some kind of shortcut in this design. Too bad !! Seems like a knockout, too. Unfortunately, by this time, I was already past my return window, or else I would have returned it. So, I tested my interface and cables with another microphone, and they all work fine.

9. Neumann TLM 102

Why Buy This:
This Neumann for beginners is great for many different applications. It gives you great clean color. If you have an extra couple, you should choose 103. It’s more versatile. But on a budget, you can’t go wrong with this one. If you are into podcasting or voice acting, then the Shure SM7B is probably the right fit for you. This microphone is also more versatile. That 102 is very specific in his voice. Great for clean vocals, guitar, and violin.

10. HyperX QuadCast

Why Buy This:

  • Very intuitive mute/unmute system, convenient gain control dial
  • Warmer sound, but overall has a good balance of natural sound
  • Four polar patterns to choose from, which are useful for things other than gaming
The build quality looks solid but is still very light
  • Built-in audio jack for screen mode
  • Shock mount and pop filter included!
